PHOTOS/VIDEO: Rihanna Gets a traditional Polynesian tattoo

Legendary New Zealand tattoo artist Inia Taylor yesterday shared images of Rihanna getting a permanent traditional Maori tattoo on her right hand.
The Maori tattoo is one of the most painful kind of skin marking out there because instead of needle puncture, this one is performed with chisel, ink pigment and mallet...and rather than a smooth surface like modern tattoo would give you, this one leaves the skin with grooves.

She got the tattoos in New Zealand after wrapping up one leg of her world tour.
