Anna kendrick shares a passionate kiss with Jeremy Jordan on the set of their new musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS

She wasn’t the one being fought over by the Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in the Twilight Saga movies.

But Kristen Stewart’s former co-star Anna Kendrick will surely have the ladies feeling jealous now.

The 27-year-old was spotted getting close to her hunky co-star Jeremy Jordan on Thursday in New York.

Anna pulled of her steamy clinch with Jeremy, 28, rather well as she slid off the trunk of a Cadillac and into his arms.

She smiled a toothy grin as he grabbed her hips and planted a peck on her lips.

Anna – who donned peach fitted trousers with a matching headscarf and red top – seemed to be enjoying herself so much that she placed her palms on his face and kissed him once more.

The star was accessorised in oversize sunglasses and a beaded necklace, bracelets as well as wedged shoes.

That day she was also seen carrying a large bundle of clothing out into the street as she donned a different ensemble.

Anna has been singing on Broadway since she was a child so there's no doubt she can carry a tune.

Now the talented star is belting out a few more songs in the long-awaited film version of the stage hit The Last Five Years.

The petite five-foot-two star was seen running into the arms of Jeremy by the lakefront cabin setting where they locked lips and hugged as though there weren't a dozen crewmembers watching.

Anna became a mainstream name after playing Bella's catty friend Jessica Stanley in The Twilight Saga franchise.

Just recently it was announced that Anna nabbed the plum role of Cathy in the film adaptation of The Last Five Years.

The contemporary musical tells the story of a struggling actress and her lover, a novelist, through the build-up and failing of their love affair.

It follows the characters over the five years of their marriage.

The part seems perfect for Anna, who played precocious Dinah Lord in the 1998 Broadway musical High Society and for which she received a Tony nomination too.

Anna has had a role in the 2003 Broadway musical A Little Night Music.

Her role as the uptight, ambitious Natalie Keener in Up In The Air garnered her worldwide fame and a few award nominations as well.
