Anambra State PDP Chairman Kidnapped

 

The Chairman of PDP in Anambra State, Prince Kenneth Emeakayi, was kidnapped on Monday Dec. 2nd by unknown gunmen who abducted him up as he was returning to Awka, the State capital.

Prince Emeakayi was said to be returning from his village in Okija when his car was intercepted at a junction in Nri and was taken away by the gunmen. He hasn't been heard from since and the kidnappers are yet to contact his family.

It will be recalled that the political tension in Anambra State has been high after the failed November 16 gubernatorial elections, in which it had to be decided by a run-off election.
