Woman Duped On Facebook By Man Who Proposed Marriage To Her

Few days ago we posted the story of a Romeo on the prowl who has been going around posing as a  would be suitor on facebook and duping several ladies through this process.
While Mary, who resides in Ibadan, lost her properties as well as a car to Oluwafemi Ajilogba whom she met on facebook.

Few days after the publication of the story, another lady who fell a victim to the same Romeo through another social network has contacted CKN Nigeria to narrate her ordeal.
According to her, she met Femi on a social network Twoo, few months ago, one thing led to another and before she knew it, the Romeo has duped her of a whopping sum of N470,000 (Four Hundred and Seventy Thousand Naira) after promising her marriage.

This is the story of Joyce as sent to CKN Nigeria unedited.

Joyce also spoke to us last night on her plight and all the efforts she is making to retrieve her money as well as to warn other ladies from falling victims to this fraudster.
"I met Femi 7mths ago on a social network. We chatted Four months before I gave him my number but never took him serious until he came visiting in Shagamu on July 14th. He was talking about marriage even before we met face to face. He pretended to be a born again christian from a Redeemed Church and asked me to tell my pastor and parents which I did. He said he lives in Maitama Abuja and that he sells cars as a personal business aside his job.

He said he bought a car he needed to sell dat the buyer knocked down the engine while test driving it. He said he arrested the man and was talking to police in my presence. I advised him to change the engine so he asked me to borrow him 20k which I paid to his account on 20th July I sent about three people to pay to the account and gav him 170k cash. Before I knew, the total amount was already 470 thousand naira.

We went to see my brother together and were even planning 2 go home for introductions. He told me a buyer came whom he called severally in my presence. Aug 14th, he said he paid the money to my account and kept asking if I've received the alert? I went to the bank on 15th and was told the money was not in my account. He stops calling nd picking my calls on 16th of August. His num are: 08148359854, 08145502069, 08138733975 this one has been going since last week til now because he switched off his phones since then.

His account number is Access Bank, Ajibade Oluwafemi Arowolo where all the transactions were made. I did get some of the teller from the people I sent because I didn't believe he will disappear just lik dat. My landlord, sisters and few friends of mine are aware of this.
The memory card where I have all his pictures got corrupted. Photocopies of some tellers are attached. The originals are wit me. Pls I don't want my surname name on the publication, please, Joyce"
