The Joyful Joy Foundation is an NGO registered in both the
US and Nigeria. It was founded in honour of Joy Ighodaro, sister to Osas
Ighodaro, who was with child and contracted malaria during a trip to Nigeria in
2006 and tragically two lives vanished. Osas became very passionate and
pro-active with elevating the platform of malaria eradication and dedicates
much of her time and energy towards awareness initiatives and
fundraising.
Slightly beyond a year after launching in the United States,
the Joyful Joy Foundation launched right here in Nigeria on October, 27, 2013
at the Avenue Suites, Tiamiyu Savage, Victoria Island Lagos. Joyful Joy
enjoyed a successful event. A ton of celebrities and corporate executives
showed up to lend their support and everyone had a good time, learned more
about malaria and the work Joyful Joy is doing to support the eradication of
the disease.
Founded in 2012 by Osas Ighodaro and Co-founder Sioux
Greaux,Joyful Joy supports the push for a healthier and Malaria-free Africa.
Itsalleviation strategy to positively impact communities involves
offering programs focused on health and wellness, ending hunger, preventable
