Charlie Sheen donates to people affected by typhoon in the Philippines

TMZ has learned the actor dropped a ton of dough to help out the Philippines. The former Two and half men actor donated $25k this week to the PREDA Foundation -- an org. working to help those affected by the typhoon in the Philippines.

The money is being used to locate children lost in the typhoon , as well as food for shelters.The org. is also dedicated to protecting children from sex trafficking.
