Nollywood Actress Alex Lopez Denies Dating Slim Burna

Late last month, this photo of Nollywood actress Alex Lopez and singer Slim Burna went viral with the story that one of Nollywood's sexiest actresses and single mom Alex Lopez was now dating 25 years singer Slim Burna.

Reacting to the story, actress Alex has denied having a relationship with Slim.
She told Vanguard:

I really don’t get why people spread such false rumors. This was obviously made up by someone who don’t have anything better to do.  

Please I’m not dating or hooking up with any singer. The young man is only a friend and nothing more than that. We just met and he greeted me then we took a pic together that is all.”  

Slim Burna through his publicist also reached out exclusively to refute these allegations. He said:

“We’ve been friends since we first met in D/Line, Port Harcourt. I remember I was with my aunt when she saw Alex and I tried to recognize her, and my aunt actually was like, “Hey Gabriel this is Alex Lopez”, and I remembered I’ve always admired how she acted in movies.  

The photo was taken in a grocery store around my neighborhood, she came to get some stuffs that day and we met at the same place and while we greeted each other, a friend took a picture of us, not for any particular reason, just paying homage and showing some love. For the misconception, I don’t understand why people should draw such conclusions.”
